l got a problem when l start singularity instead of the sisi launcher l get (Another instance of the Eve Online updater is running only one can be running at a time) which pretty weird cause l'm not running even the tranqulitiy launcher. l ended up doing the shortcut thing to EveFile.exe in the bin folder......it starts running but then when l try to update is says there is an error and sends me to webpage where l am supposed to get a patch and when l get there it says

Use the launcher?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

it doesn't change at all it still says another instance of EVE Online updater is running.Only one can be running at a time even after restart

L even looked at task manager and nothing about EVE is running at all and the funny is the message that pops up is process updater.exe and it says one is already runing even though l just started running it and it's the only process there

l also tried to the shorcut and editing target to /server:Singularity to the ExeFile.exe in the bin folder which actually skips the launcher and starts the client but then when l try to update it a box with (Question ? ) says

There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /test/evepremiumpatch267590_test.exe from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch267590_test.exe not found

Do you want to go to support page?

and when l get there l get this:

Patches for Singularity

Here you can download patches for manual patching, if for some reason autopatching fails.

To manually apply a patch you will need to download the patch from below and save it to a local folder. Launch the EXE file from that folder. If a file-open dialog appears then locate EVE on your hard drive.

Patches are also available for Tranquility, Multiplicity and Duality.

If you experience any problems then do not hesitate to contact support on https://bugs.eveonline.com

why they've chosen to not update the sisilauncher (which was great btw) is beyond me, i'll not be able to get most of my friends onto sisi with it the way it is atm

Not necessarily, I had my SiSi patch itself to TQ one evening after having loaded it up that morning just fine (along with the whole time since i put a SiSi client on this PC). Tried everything, nothing worked. Checked all the file routes, everything was directing/targeted where it should be for SiSi client/server.

Finally, i copied my bro's .exe and matched it with my clients windows location, and it worked. Still not sure why SiSi all of a sudden didn't want to be SiSi.
