Hi guys

I'm looking for your experiences with playing Eve on ultrabooks with HD3000 graphics. Is it even possible? If so, what limitations do I face?
I imagine running with an i5 Sandy processor and at least 4GB RAM.

I imagine it would run fine on low settings, however the heat will NOT be pleasent.

Even the highest spec alienware laptops overheat playing games they were designed to **** all over.

Cool. Did you actually play Eve on a laptop using the HD 3000 chip? :)

I play on a Dell XPS 17 and on a custom made sandy bridge desktop with Lucid virtu. Sometimes I desable the descrete vga and force the game to use the HD3000 on the Intel i7 CPU (either by disabling virtu or by changing the vga card in the EVE's settings). The only thing I do is to change the grafix details to medium for an acceptable detail/FPS ratio. Also u can select the "optimize for performance" settings and then change the individual level on each setting by ur self wherever you like, in order to improve visual details.
