POS Reworked - Like this if you want CCP to have the changes ASAP

The funny part is there are now less devs working on FiS than before. Since we were so mad about those 100 devs working on WiS we now have even less people working on FiS


That kinda does makes sense to me, if something fails as badly as WiS! Let's hope the new POSes will not be like that and that it will provide new game content and new ways to play the game. SMALLHOLDING FTW!

BTW: POSes with Jumpdrives.. how nuts is that?

I refuse to read the CSM minutes someone give me a TLDR.

Infact im too lazy to read, someone ring up my local post office and tell them and ill ask next time I need to post a heavy package.

Here it is the TLDR version:

with the upcoming suggested changes and ideas for POS-es the players would have the option to customize their POSes by function, look or whatever they fancy. There could be an option for personal hangars, docking ability and even crazy ideas like a jump drive on POS have been considered with a 48 hours timer on the jump.

POSes could be anchored anywhere in system and their function as safehouses for PewPew ops would be altered. They POS would have the be specifically designed for that function. Otherwise they can be personal homes for individuals, corp safehouses, alliance whatevers...

If you only read these from the minutes, you'd have a whole lot better understanding what they will be or could be.

All in all: new POS-es will have game altering characteristics, new ways of gamestyles could evolve (SmallHolding)

I'm willing to put down 1b (don't judge me, i'm space poor) on the following prediction:

On December 31st 2013, we will not have new POSes with jumpdrives and CPU/PG sharing between POSes and firing arcs on the POS guns.

If any of these three features ends up on TQ before the deadline I lose the bet.

If anyone is interested in taking the bet, write me a mail so we can sort out 3rd parties and stuff.

CCP u have no idea how excited u just made a HUGE part of your player base, i swear to god please dedicate every team to this and im not joking here ccp, put lots of people on this and due it right, tie it in with the new industrial UI and you have one of the best biggest expansions in the history of eve.

I wonder what the Usage of POS's are versus actual Stations.

I would think a POS would have more activity going on than a Station. If it is, then obviously its needs the most attention compared to any other part of the game other than the actual mechanics and balancing of ships.
