XL Ancil and the Raven?

Has anyone tried using an XL Ancillery Booster on the Raven backed up with a Faction medium booster? Dose using 400 charges make a difference over the 800s?

Never tried it as I don't fly one, but always use the smaller charges, there is no difference between them in what they rep, but you can load more 400's.
