me in a 'ranis, oponent in a nano MSE stilleto.

chasing him for nearly 4 hours, several engagements and all that.

last engagement I killed him and my taranis had the mwd offline because of overheatLol

Also suicide ganking a retriever in hisec cus he had a purple CPU which then dropped and I sold it for 150mil

I can't pick just one.

There was the time I solo camped an enemy station in my tempest for 15 minutes before they figured out I was alone. The ensuing battle was four on one and I took that Rokh down to 2% structure! (Was very drunk)

Flew my typhoon 30 jumps solo w/o being spotted. Killed a ratting domi and then played cat and mouse with his friends.

Roaming solo in a dual propulsion vaga and watching my victim's reaction when they figure out I'm equipped with a scrambler.

Jumping on the tail end of an Amar T1 frigate fleet of 30 as they jumping through a gate in my wolf. Killed 12 of them as they jumped back in helper skelter.

Going one on one with Kane Rizzel and getting him to 17% hull.

Playing cat and mouse with Brick Squad in my Thrasher.

Suffice to say, if they fix faction warfare, I'll go back to it.

watched a guy jump inot ec-p8r when we was gate camping there many years back ..... in local he put oh s**t ..

nothng new really until we seen his nice officer fit cnr uncloak ... the guy had been drinking and warped and jumped into ec not ibura lol .

i felt bad well not so bad after we sold his loot lol.

My best memory?

Beeing part of the Corporation/Alliance who build the first Erebus Titan on the server, testing it, bringing it into battle, losing it (i never thought one could be so shocked about anything in a game), a week later bringing in the 2nd Titan nobody knew about (what a great moment), and then losing the war and everything build in 3 years.

I only ever found that in EVE. All other MMOs are shallow in comparison, easy as that.

Best moment in EVE!
1) Were poded in Jita after my Industrial was ganked. The explosion was to heavy.
2) Lost 4Bil worth BPOs while no afk flight, 10 sec to slow!

My blissfully ignorant memory of Eve before I started looking at these forums (and I don't mean these new forums. I mean ofc the forums in general) and having to read all the stuff that it's filled with. I can't unsee forum posts. Sad

Is CCP able to refund me in some way? I'm thinking if they built me a time machine it would be adequate. I feel like these forums have sucked the life right out of me.

My best memory of eve, was me going to a strip club in Reykjavik, Iceland.

watching one of the first eve-tv alliance tournaments (06 I think) where one side lost an Imperial apocalypse after rejecting the option of paying a ransom.

oh also the pre drone nerf times where you could have about 8 heavy on a Thorax.

After reading the above - watching BOB get annihaltaed in the Alliance tournament by Star Fraction who fielded ten Thoraxes was priceless.

My experiences before I understood the realities of the game mechanics, the resource distributions, and the metagaming consequences. After that point I understood it was pointless and it ruined the illusion.

Day 1, starting the game and having a voiced Aura guide me through the tutorial. Thought that was the coolest thing.

Helping to build an outpost and then fighting to keep it. It became a very personal fight. It wasn't just pixels and isk anymore, it was our home. And yes, it's what I think of everytime I see that "Eve is real" trailer.
