This thread is an excellent idea. There's a lot of CCP bashing on the forum from whiners who seem to forget that it was CCP who gave us this game in the first place. However I think those comments are a testament to what an excellent game EVE is - after all, people wouldn't get so fired up about something they don't care about.

CCP, you're doing a great job, and I think I speak for the player base as a whole when I say that despite the ups and downs we have, in the end we all greatly enjoy EVE and your contributions are much appreciated.

It is really nice how active the CCP staff is with the community. The fact that we share the same universe and they all have avatars works wonders in EVE. It really helps make the staff feel like real people who actually like the game they work on, unlike some other MMOs. Reminds me of WotC's first year (back in the alpha/beta days) where all the staff constantly played MtG with each other and players. I met a number of the artists and even they seem to be passionate about the game.
