They are outclassed by other races in every field except for recons (due to their niche role) and the comet . There are some very particular situations where gal boats (even the craptastic myrm) can shine. However in 90% of all scenarios you are better off in a ship of another race.

Why do you think the comet needs a buff?

When I start flying cruisers, I actually plan to start on the SciFI. I've spoken to other people who fly it and they rave about it over the SFI.

Yeah I guess that was unclear. I think the comet was well balanced before, I am just saying it and the others will need to be rebalanced after the T1 frig (and eventually cruiser and BC) buff is done.

You must be blind then, because currently even at Tech I level, Gallente ships are dominating in their weightclasses.

Gallente ships are generally fine, as long as you know how to fly them. Just takes a good set of brass balls and a really bad Cuban accent and you can bury those cockaroaches.

A fine example.

The common problem with Gallente ships is actually with the pilots trying to over-tank them. They're meant to be fast with the heaviest raw damage in the game, not durable.

Whether or not you win the game matters not.  It's if you bought it.
