Create a new module:
Mass Gas Collector


Role Bonus:
100% bonus to Mass Gas Collector yield
Able to equip a Mass Gas Collectors

Then just create the module.

Add a Skill bonus of 25% yield per skill level of Gas Harvestor.

Simple.

Gas harvesting will probably be something the forthcoming ORE frigate will have a role in.

Tiers and roles are go-bye-bye...

I would love to see a rig though along with the ice and merc rigs, since there is a implant already.

Slot 6 the would be the Ore, Ice, Gas implant slot and the rigs could be matched.

I do like the idea of rigs.
But there should be some way to boost it on the Mining Barges. Maybe a Mining Barge trait?

Just look at mining turrets to strip miners.
Gas harvester tooo.... something else but bigger that can only be fit on the barge anyway.
Then rig it to mine gas.

It would also be necessary to make gas harvesters not take a turret hardpoint. It's odd that gas harvesting is the one thing you can't do with a dedicated mining ship still.
