Why did I just see the gas I was pumping cost $8.79 a gallon o.o

And promptly stopped once I noticed it,,,, at $53 total. Was super pissed, go home, check it out they only charged my bank $1
what trickery is this? Gas stations being nice or lulz?

Positive lol. I never check gas prices as 91 is always really expensive so it makes me cringe, but I glanced over while filling up and noticed it was at 8.79 per...

8.79? Where? That one gas station in Florida that's the last gas for a zillion miles?

As for the $1 charge, that's normally just to verify your CC works. You'll probably see them refund the $1 and then the full charge will appear on your statement.

San Diego, CA big city, millions of gas stations to choose from. and no, its not pending, its a posted transaction, no charge besides the $1 :O but its called something weird on my statement....

Trust me, I've looked everywhere else and the gas charge is non existant.

there are lots of weird people here, (only local for 3 years roughly now) and I continuously hear/interact with some of the strangest people and requests ever. Its terrible in a funny sort of way.

by the way, why do I hear about the public fapping thing, I must have missed the ordeal that made that (widespread?)

Since it bears on the subject of gas, the new GPS that took the Harley dealership 6 hours to install tells me how much gas I have! Why look at teh fuel gauge when I have an awesome digital display? Big smile

Also it only costs me $10 to fill the tank (91 octane) Cool
