CCP: The Deimos!!!!!!!!!!

Since it seems the dev's are on a roll, i figure this might be worth a try.

Can you guys for the love of god have a look at the deimos for the winter expantion, as its in desperate need of a boostTwisted

The ship has been overlooked for years, and there is a reason most players call it a diemostX

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

in small fleets, it's a great ship for pure dps. load up a bunch of neutron blasters, mag stabs, and be ready to die, but cause pain on the way down.

i love my deimos, so any attention my epeen gets is welcome.

i could expand on that, but i think the implication is quite clear.

Hybrids are already getting balanced. Do you really need the Deimos buffed as well?

Yes, yes and even more yes.

While its good that hybrids are getting a boost, its the deimos itself that is flawed

See this is why CCP should never fix or balance anything ever. As soon as they do people start bringing up almost every ship, weapon system, ship class in game demanding a fix.

Without the details of the coming hybrid buff, there is no way to tell if the deimos needs attention or not.

That's not a reason to not rebalance 'a' ship. The outpouring of ship rebalance requests is a good indicator that many many ships are broken.

Don't fix hybrids, fix the ships. All the gal blaster boats, with maybe 2 exceptions (mega and tranis) are broken due to various changes. Blasters are fine just make the hulls capable of using them properly.

You can fit a 1600 and 425mm guns on a Vaga, so why not neutrons and a 1600 on a diemost?

That'd be a nice buff.
