I still blame the players, get rid of them, and stuff won't cost so much.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

10 months of hyper inflation followed by a massive bot purge and drone mineral nerf. The two ice interdictions only impacted ice and towers but also left their mark. Hulkageddon did nothing to mineral prices.

It never ceases to amaze me that goons instill such fear in HS farmers an mission runners. Dont get me wrong, I've fought goons for years off an on, but they are just playing the game as it is meant to be played. As for the economy, Jihad/hulkageddon did not impact it.

It was caused as has been said by other things. Sadly CCP always pander to the botters an afk miners who actively refuse to take any responsibility for their own gaming.

Hell back in Jihad I was a miner an we had our own intel chan lol (of coarse half of GF were in it).... but the idea was sound :D

The cost of a Maelstrom is 200 mil I believe. I remember when it was 72. Before this around 100. - 120 that is a huge price change.

The reason is that Comrade Mittani and his space-socialist empire "Goonswarm" have introduced an unsustainable free-clone healthcare plan, and they can only afford to pay for it by amassing huge quantities of inter-alliance debt. Goonswarm is now trying to pay down the interest and inflate their way out of debt by literally printing isk.

They banned a **** ton of bots, hulkageddon has been going for months and people have been market pvping their asses off to take advantage of the above mentioned bad crazy on the market which results in prices that make you wonder where all the miners went.

It's funny how opinions changed lately: 3+ months ago most answers here would be "incursions caused 100% yearly price raise!!! nerf em" - but suddenly prices didn't drop after incursions nerf. So correct answer is - "combination of hulkageddon, drone poo nerf, bots ban, mission loot changes".

... because the Isk was still floating around the economy.

When a boom happens and everybody's rich all of a sudden, the disappearance of the cause of the boom doesn't all of a sudden make everyone poor, so prices stay elevated for a while. Just like it's taken time since the Drone nerf for Min prices to rise.
