Despite what you seem to think, ganking is not what stops people from mining. Boredom does. We're not gonna see a wave of people who didn't want to mine before hurry to train for Mining Barges just to give it a go after the changes because, guess what, it will still be boring! Mineral prices won't go down or anyhing.

As for PvP... if ganking in High-Sec was what you call PvP you weren't much of a PvPer to begin with. Grow some balls.

We killed hundreds of bots in our ice interdiction and improved caldari ice mining profits for all miners even to this day while shutting down one of the most bot riddled parts of space. less ganking of miners will mean cheaper ships so more PvP, more newer players sticking with the game, so more People Starting to PvP.

But i suspect real PvP is not what gankers are after, they want sheep.

Last time minerals flooded the market and ships became cheap we didnt get those new players. We wont this time around either.
