Nice changes, but could you please also add combat boosters (exile drop etc) as a charge? It'll be so frustrating to still have to add them (and nanite paste for that matter) after fitting each ship

Love these changes, thanks.
Any idea if we'll get them with the next patch?

Even further, is no one trying this out on SiSi?

Give us an easy way to launch it and I'll be straight in there. I never had any luck with the folder copying and shortcut method.

Great stuff and all, but may I suggest another improvement for the UI? because it would really be pure awesomness if the UI position, opened chat channels, overview settings, well... The UI... was saved server side... it strikes me that this hasn't been implemented yet with such an old game and we have to rejoin chat, rearrange windows and stuff anytime we use a new computer.
Keep a local copy for reduced server load, but if logging for the first time on a comp, download the stuff in a XML file and rock 'n roll.
My 2cts.

Very Nice. I love the changes. Big smile

If I may, one more feature I have always wanted since the fitting manager came out, "Buy this fitting" button. When clicked it would go to the market, in the station you are currently in, and quote you a total cost for all available modules and the hull. It would make note of any unavailable modules and present the user with an accept quote and cancel purchase buttons. if accepted, the tool would verify all modules are still availible, then subtract the quoted amount from the players wallet, and buy all the parts for the player. From here the parts could be 1)dropped in the hanger or 2)Auto fitted to the hull !!! CCP could even charge a small .5% fee or something for the buying service and it would still be used. Blink

EDIT, guess I should of read ALL the posts first, someone already suggested this and it was shot down. Sad Still thanks for the changes, I appreciate them. and please do give the Buy This button some more consideration in the future.

it's a great idea but it's more of a market change, not a saved fitting change so it's out of scope for what I've been doing

no! no medals so far... we're hoping to get one again in handball. my best friend was playing badminton and did really well (won one match but lost the second one). watching her do so well is worth more to me than getting a medal in any other sport anyways Blink

Is this still working? When I originally looked it said it was no longer supported; and 5gb is a lot of bandwidth to spend for something which may not work.

It may be working, I don't know, but we no longer support it. You don't need to download a full client for Sisi, you can just copy your existing installation and patch it using the instructions found here: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity#Accessing_Singularity

I got in after some messing around..

First I copied the existing install to a new folder and renamed it singularity, then pointed the Sisi launcher at it, which then ran and patched only the blocks necessary, but when it got to the launcher screen it validated the install but clicking on the play button did nothing, having waited several minutes between clicks and checking the task manager for ExeFile.

Created a shortcut /server:Singularity to the eve.exe as described but it opened the launcher with the same problem as before. Ended up creating a shortcut to bin/exefile.exe /server:singularity and that let the client open.

Not sure how long it will last when a new patch comes along though.

If you use SiSi launcher right now, you have to repair the launcher after every SiSi patch. (command prompt: eve.exe /forceupdate /forcelauncher) I'd like to give credit where credit is due, one of the devs pointed this out last week. Can't find the thread now sadly :(

If you make a short cut for the launcher per the Wiki page it does work. You just have to point it at the numeral server name not a generic Singularity name. I made a new short cut after the last launcher change and it works well for me.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide
