New Mining Barge stats completely eliminate PVP.

Exactly.

That's like saying you "got into a fight with someone and won" when all you really did was knock them out with a baseball bat from behind, or with a sucker punch like a ***.

You have to be a special type of spineless worm to do that IRL and a special type of epic failure PVPer to do that in Eve to miners.

Personally, I equate it to knocking out old ladies with sucker punches or baseball bats.

Some people just don't get this game.

Its not real life.... thats the point. I don't go around shooting anything or anyone for any reason in real life, even if its a fair fight and even if the person who I'm shooting agreed to have a shoot out!

Its a game... ganking is part of the game.. its not a reflection of the RL morales or ethics of a human being controling the online character in his fantasy world as he flys around in an make belief ship having make beleif space ship battles.

Judging someones morales on what they do in Eve is like judging an actors morales based on a role he played in a movie. It doesn't make any bloody sense..

So much butthurt on this forum it hurts my ass and my eyes.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

WTF is happening, I am actually agreeing with (and liking) a Tom Gerard post.
This is really weirding me out.

Its funny your title is a lie because in pvp did you know two players fight each other. what ur crying about is how some one with no power to attack you back now has better def then they had.

So what your asking is for gankers to be able to kill anyone with out a challenge? to me u just sound like your bad at pvp and want free kills.

Ah, but actors are given/offered specific roles, and how they portray them is influenced to some extent by the director. An EVE player has complete creative freedom and as such you can tell a lot about their mentality by how they choose to play.

Don't spend all your time griefing people in RL? For some it is only RL consequences that stops them. Put them in New Eden and take away those consequences and they now have the freedom to be the annoying assholes that they always wished they could be.

Anyway, I'm a noob so what do I know?

Confirming that the only PvP in Eve happens when a mining barge is ganked.
