i am such a fail .... just got my alt into one of the minnie alliances ... crap

The minnies just hit T5 again 30 minutes ago - there's plenty of ISK to be made.

The funny part is watching all the carebears complain about slipping to T4. Every other militia would LOVE to have the ability to hit T4 with the ease of the minmatar.

"Time ot make an amarr alt" was what a lot were saying at 79.8% :D:D:D

And these fairweather nerds are the ones who ultimately influence the control over the warzone.

Thats where you caught the essence of the broken mechanics in one simple sentence.

I don't consider that broken. This has been happening in real life for centuries; if you don't have support of the people it is very hard to remain in control.

On another note, the biggest issue I've run across with Minmatar in FW is there is no organization whatsoever, just a hodge podge of groups with no clear direction. Seems everyone is out for themselves so when things get a bit dicey, you can expect people to start looking for stronger alternatives

Regardless of real life analogies, it doesn't make for a very good game.

For faction war to really be a good game it should be something that you can take some pride in winning. It never has been that, because it has always been a matter of who can spend longer hours pveing.

Its a npc militia. This is why its good that ccp makes it so that the losing side can come back.

Make faction war occupancy pvp instead of pve https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=53815&#post53815

This is a game and not RL. And it is broken in the game. Besides, in RL the armed forces would control most of the wealth even if they didn't have control over the pesants hiding somewhere in the woods or caves. In this game it is the opposite and the irony is that the wealth comes from loyalty points handed out by the NPC militia. It is almost like they want us to lay down our weapons and fly gunless ships.

That is so true. But how about tweaking mechanics so that you could solo these plexes but it would be more efficient to farm them in ships with guns and points together with a few friends? That way the farmers would be part of the militia effort and actually deserve their LPs.

IDK man, I've been having some of the best fights (and most concentrated in terms of space and time) in a long time with the new Inferno mechanics, whether the actual sov-part of Faction Warfare is all screwy or not.

Working as intended: to create conflict, fights and good times. People care about FW now, as you can so plainly see with all the people debating it so vigilantly on the forums and in space. (:

Minmatar and Amarr are organized more so by the bigger players than everyone new who joins.

there is no set list that gets updated every time a new corp or alliance join so its hard to maintain a constant contact with all involved.

plus. as has been stated alot of people join to just farm so its not like the vets expect those farmers to need Intel access and such. i do like the moaning in militia at times for iron oxide. not pushing for t5 though. that does make me chuckle.

Congrats on taking kourm anyway.
