I can't be the only nullsec player who would actually get into harvesting and crafting in EVE... If not for the fact that those two parts of EVE haven't been updated in years. Since before combat even got a good long look at, and even that was forever ago.

Seriously, if you want to harvest, you either have to have two monitors so you can do something else while you play the game (you are paying to play, I wish to remind you), or you have to do what 75% of Highsec does and grab a miner bot program. And I refuse to cheat for a bunch of space rocks.

Crafting, well, you still have to deal with the fallout from the miner bot situation, and you also have to deal with ancient, out of date systems like invention or datacores to get anywhere. And good luck if you need to do anything involving a POS, due to the fact that no one has looked at that particular game mechanic in years you can't do that if you're in a nullsec corporation or alliance -- you have to make an alt to do it, or move your character to his own personal corporation.

In short, I'm a burner (mostly of Guristas pirates) because being a nullsec builder is nearly impossible in this game.

1. lulz
2. hate all human life because yours is worthless
3. Thinks that you can transfer some of you're own pain brought on by a lonely and pointless life onto your victim by destroying their ship
4. Just bored of everything else that EVE has to offer
5. something new.

Your very very valuable answers please

Wow, how bitter and naive do you have to be to believe answers 2 and 3 are valid choices? It clearly shows you have almost zero understanding of the PvP aspect of the game.

I guess we'll do our best to educate you.
BTW, Protip: your protip is wrong on every imaginable level.

So to answer your multiple choice question, I'd have to say number five. I'm on a personal mission to improve the quality of all highsec corporations. It initially started with an observation that the vast majority of highsec corps were utterly terrible. Terrible to the point of disfunctional.

My alt wrote a lengthy guide on how to create, run and grow a successful corporation. My alt even spammed the thread in the ingame recruitment channel. The attempt to improve highsec corps did not go well. Nobody would listen. Terrible corps continued to be terrible and waste peoples time, despite sound advice to the contrary. If they would not heed my words, they will heed my autocannons (sometimes blasters too). No longer will the highsec playerbase suffer within terrible corporations.

Whenever a corp promises its members something and does not deliver, I will be there.
Everytime a corporation advertises itself as a "We Do Everything" corp, I'll be there.
Whenever a CEO foolishly ignores internal and external security, I'll be there.
Everytime a corp thinks its safe to flaunt their expensive toys in highsec, I'll be there.
Anytime a CEO trusts every new member blindly, I'll be there.

Piracy with impunity, baby! If that's what it takes to cull the terrible corps in highsec, so be it.
Lock up your hulks, hide your orcas and hide your freighters. Game on, bitches!

Welll... doesn't building require you to burn the burners to they won't burn what you build? I mean... heck... I'm a builder, but I have no moral issues building on top of the smouldering corpses of my enemies.

A builder who lives among burners (Low sec).

The challenge of being water in a sea of oil is entertainment in of itself, not to mention the lack of crowding from other industrialists that you find in high sec. It also lets me dabble in industries that high sec players can't (Low-tax PI and Moon mining)

I take no joy in blowing up other players...but part of me does enjoy the challenge that human-controlled opponents pose. Being a low sec industrialist who must dodge pirates suits my taste in PVP.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Builder.

some of the following

miner/pve/building/anoms some pvp

If you are a builder do you do it to

1. pay the plex man
2. dont really like pvp
3. pay for pvp
4. like routine
5. enjoy it
6. other reasons that i cant be bothered to think of at this precise moment in time

or a burner

I dont mean pvper or merc where you wardec and play but a burner.

3-4 accounts who are all in NPC corps who suicide gank all day long

ie miners with destroyers

wait outside stations for tengus to undock and then open fire with a full rack of 1400s before they can cloak

4 sets of 1400s warping into a mission and destroying a faction/tech II battleship

And none of this is for profit

if you are a burner why do you do it

1. lulz
2. hate all human life because yours is worthless
3. Thinks that you can transfer some of you're own pain brought on by a lonely and pointless life onto your victim by destroying their ship
4. Just bored of everything else that EVE has to offer
5. something new

Number 1s tend to be people like some Goons
Number 4-5s tend to be old time vets just winding down time
