Thats an absolute gem. I also have to say, although i work in IT etc, its almost identical to what i did. I didnt read up on it or anything, i knew about the Metro interface and its mainly designed for touch interfaces and in my naievity i figured "simple, find the Metro Off setting and carry on.

I went about a similar but much much faster route of that guy trying to find 'control panel'.
Laughable, tech guy thwarted for a few minutes...... stupid tech guy.

Microsoft used to ramble on forever about how they had 3000 people only employed to use the interfaces of their new offerings to make sure it was wonderful etc. But microsoft have definitely forgotten that an average user, just like that guy, will only use the mouse for a start.

I sort of like 8 - its very quick is my impressed bit. Thats it though. After a while on my first investigations on a laptop i ended up with a stacked scroll bar and its my guess that even when the video guy 'gets used to it' that as soon as he ends up with that then the off key will be used and the machine packed away ready for ebay.

His final comment is an absolute classic.

"caught on fire a little bit, just a little."

"Delinquents, check, weirdos, check, hippies, check, pillheads, check, freaks, check, potheads, check .....gangs all here!"

I love Science, it gives me a Hadron.
