No Sound At All

Hello,

I've been playing a lot on my Mac Pro lately (Early 2008) model, and everything is pretty good except for no sound. Has anyone had trouble with the sound before? :(

I am running Lion OS X 10.7.4 and another thing to note is that I'm using an external audio card with headphones. Sound works fine in every other game I've played (mostly TF2 and other Mac steam games) and sound is fine in the normal OS X apps as well. I've also tried switching over to just built-in output and that as well doesn't seem to be working either.

Is this a known issue or something that sounds pretty unique to just me?

Obvious question is obvious, but do you have sound turned on in-game?

Yes I do. I've since gone back to Win7 in Bootcamp, the Mac client is pretty disappointing.
