Hi all, sorry if this isn't the right forum to post this in, I am a newb after all. But I have surprise surprise and Eve blog I have been tapping away at as I stretch my legs in New Eden and would like to share it in my sig but can't seem to make it happen. I have seen others do it so I know it's possible but my limited computer skills seem to not be up to the task.

Thanks again.

What a surprise, yet another Eve blog http://capsuleerconfessions.blogspot.com

OK link is now working but I can't seem to get rid of all the rest of the text, any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks again

Well, the first thing is that you stop using screwy formatting code in the link. Just use the link itself without all the stuff at the end. And after that, you put the URL inside tags with [ url=http://url.path.here]Yellow text[/url ] without the spaces inside the brackets with the URL.

Yeah I just copied and pasted the link and all that extra text was just added when I went to the preview. I try to delete it and the extraneous text just keeps getting added, not sure why or how to delete. Believe my I tried following your instructions but I don't think I understand them well because it's just not working. As you can see I am not that computer savy.

Weird thing is in a post I can just copy and past the link, like this http://capsuleerconfessions.blogspot.com and it seems to work.

I wonder if putting a space at the end of the line will help, or a space followed by more text.

Looks like you break the parser with just a link (not surprising as it can't handle other things either).

I just used HTML to insert an "a" tag with href.
