Goons just announced that they have 1 trillion ISK in reserve: http://i.imgur.com/A4eiA.png

how CCP allowed tech to go unchecked for more than two years, with the most destructive alliance in the game holding 20% is beyond me. no one group, let alone goonswarm, should have that much power over a substantial fraction of the means of t2 production

this is indeed worrying - with the tech heavy alliances already having their trillion-isk nest eggs and prices on lowend minerals having nowhere to go but down with the buff to AFK mining, the buying power of ISK will skyrocket and we'll be back to seeing 40m battleship hulls and 35b titans, while the rich alliances buy up cheap titans while they can

1 Trillion ISK isn't a lot reserve for an alliance of that size. I know people who individually have 3-5+ T ISK themselves.

Didn't you read the text in the image? Supercap stuff: 0.01 isk

Also, CCP can we please have a wallet buff that allows us to remove the last 0.01, I personally have over 0.04 isk trapped in this way.

alliances that hoard money and keep their members convinced that they are poor tend to be the ones with the gigantic wallets from renter income, moons or whatever, but 1tn wallets are a rarity in communist alliances like goonswarm

on the other hand, individual players don't have any fixed expenses like sov bills and spending programs like reimbursements, so they can just pile on ISK

That Istvaan guy (The GHSC member who stole those Titans or somethin) posted a pic of his wallet a while ago and it had a trillion ISK in it.

Just get him to join your Alliance. Problem solved.

I thought you can take the last .01 isk with an alt and manually transer it elsewhere. Maybe that only works for corps, but worth a shot if you haven't tried it already.

You're about 2 years late crying about an alliance having a trill in the bank. Now I suggest you go back to telling everyone how its unfair someone found something worth more than what you found and how that means CCP screwed up.

and how many of those alliances had ridiculous spending policies like "hey let's just burn through 100 billion ISK to kill freighters in Jita" and "we'll reimburse dumb ships you fly while solo PvPing horribly"

this isn't about "oh no goonswarm is rich, the game is ruined!" because they got there through their own efforts, it's about "why did CCP fail to address an egregious imbalance like technetium without giving holders 2.5 years to sit on it"
