Jukebox bug (HELP!)

For some strange reason, when I try to play a song on the EVE jukebox, it immediately starts skipping through every song in the playlist without actually playing a single one. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem and how I can fix it?

I've been having the exact same problem for months now. There are a few old solutions I found browsing the internet, but none of them worked for me. Maybe the devs could at least look at the problem? I'm playing EVE on my PC.

Generally this issue is the result of a lack of codec required to play the jukebox tracks. Can you check the following forum thread which details a possible solution:

I have the same problem now since the Inferno 1.2 patch and if I have to download seperate codecs to play regular Mp3's there's something wrong with your game.

This problem popped up after the latest patch (1.2) and it does the song skipping through out all the songs in my personal playlist aswell as the Eve Soundtrack.

Any solutions ?
