Is it true that it will be impossible to solo a hulk kill in patch?

So I jsut got told today they are removing the ability to solo kill a hulk ?, giving a hulk 80k hp is just moronic if it's true. It really does mirror the over reaction to Goons Jihad many years ago which sparked Concord boosting. Because the botters cried to devs that it wasn't fair they couldn't bot in peace. Jihad was one of the best things to happen to EVE, an as much as I have fought them over years, I have respect for what they do/did for EVE game play.

I dont know if this is true, but apparently on Test it takes 4-5 battleships to kill 1 hulk.
I will be shocked if dev's have done it again an given into the miner bots an really done this. EVE is going down the wow route so fast.

3 years ago, just undocking a freighter you had to actually plan your route, an think ahead. There is no need for thought anymore, you see dozens of freighters sitting afk in 4-4 every day, without a care in world.
I was gonna buy myself a second char again but I think I'll wait now an see whats gonna happen, this may well be last straw for me (I hate to be one of those guys), but still I dont play wow games.

This might be bait, but I'll bite.

A skiff will be able to get 100k EHP, as they're making it that the Skiff/Procurer are the anti-gank tuff miners. Definitely not a Hulk. A hulk will get AT MAXIMUM 50k EHP if they sink some isk and dedicate to pure tank.

In that case, they might as well get a skiff. So, I believe Hulks are still gankable, but not to catalysts/thoraxes/brutixes. You'd need an arty torn. 
Everything's Air Droppable at least once.

Well I only use Tempests, an I know for a fact I cant get 50k salvo off. so you could say they are making it so no miners can be killed. Remember they did this with Jihad. Before it you could kill concord, but the botters screamed so loud CCP removed the ability.

Well, you'd most likely need two volleys to take out a Hulk now if they're fully tank fitted... with said 50k Tempest... due to the resist profile .
If they're high yield fitted (you'll still get loads of stupid afk'ers with full yield fits), you'll be fine and still kill them with one salvo.

Skiffs tho... you'd need a couple of those Tempests. Skiffs can get rainbow 70% tanks up to 100k EHP with 400 dps passive tanks.... they're tough nuts to crack.

My lightly tanked purger rigged drake has 60k ehp. It's tech 1 and it costs what?...1/5th of what a hulk costs. I think 80k ehp with the max tank is a bit of a ripoff for hulk owners.

Keep the nullsec alt ganker tears up though, it's not my fault that most of nullsec is boring.

Put the Fear back in high-sec mining! Sign the petition to allow dreads in high-sec!

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

It isn't EVE players job to kill botters. CCP can do that much better than you.

Hulk is getting least buffed in terms of EHP. There will be plenty of guys who will still go for 100% mining yield. You will have trouble killing Skiffs. By EHP - the least mining yield skiff gets biggest EHP, Mackinaw get a bit less and Hulk get least EHP added. You will be able to get a decent buffer so it will be up to the miner and the risk he wants to take.
