Alts in FW

Generally speaking, how are alts treated in factional warfare? Or a whole corp full of them? My nullsec buddies and I are thinking about joining up so we have something to do for those times of day when there are no good fights to be found. But at the same time, we understand that FW is a different game and it will be a learning process.

Another thing I'm curious about is whether FW corps follow the same API interrogations and background checks as normal corps do, or whether it has a RvB feel where we work together and dont really give two ***** about outside affiliations.

I think in general alt corps are not treated any differently than normal, just be prepared to be mocked (in all militias) if you try to impress people with "if my 0.0 corp would come here, we would kick your ass" stories.

As for joining requirements, it varies a bit corporation by corporation. Some have tight screening process, some are "lollol, everyone welcome, nothing to spy here" mentality. Most are somewhere between average where obvious spys are rejected and bit suspicius characters questioned for a bit.

The answer is a big fat it depends. There are some corps that have strict API checks just like nullsec, while others don't care. There are many circles of trust within each militia. You won't be able to get into all those circles being nullsec alts, especially when null sec groups are a big threat to FW capital fleets. However, you will get into other circles of trust if you can "commit" to a side (ie gal/minnie or amarr/caldari) without switching sides to farm LP and can avoid hotdropping your fellow militia with your nullsec mains.

Most of the half decent corps would tell you to **** off back off to noobsec, we don't want alts.
However that doesn't mean you can't create your own corp, or just join the FW npc corp.
