Disconnecting and Quitting

Hi,

Recently whenever I get disconnected it is not possible to Ctrl Q, right click exit on windows or end via task manager. The only way to shut down the client is wait till the "The Socket Was Closed" error shows up and Quit/Restart option appears, this can be immediate to whatever amount of minutes.

The only other way is ending it via task manager processes.

This might not be a problem for everyone if you only get DC'd once in a blue moon but thanks to some epic code work and server changes by CCP socket closed errors are back for me and a corp mate of mine who has never ever had it before is getting it also.

Anyone else getting this problem trying to shut down the client after a DC?

yes I'm having this issue too.
I think its just poor coding and asking the server to quit, which runs into timeout in case your connection is dead by that time.
