This has me worried beyond belief. I have a good chance to get a new job in about a month and the first thing I will be buying is going to be a gun of some type and at least 1000 rounds of ammunition. I wanted to take up hunting within the next year, I may get to go after the blue-helmeted lemming. They are kind of rare in this country but I have heard they are a satisfying kill.

Here's another article with a bit more details and sans the infowar drama-queen/chicken-little markup: http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2012/0726/Gun-rights-why-UN-small-arms-treaty-is-another-land-mine-for-Obama

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Well it kind of makes sense, Usually the US says our soveriegnty allows us not to follow this. So another countires soverignty would allow them to confiscate US guns brought to their soil.

I thought you were gonna say, get a job in a european country, and were afraid of guns taken away.

So, maybe the blue-helmets will be the ones hunting us?

This happens while the banksters sit offshore and laugh.

Won't work though. I know they would get their footholds in places that are already disarmed, like New York and Chicago. But what comes with the UN is also human trafficking and prostitution. They won't be tolerated even by the people they will be claiming to protect from all those evil guns.

Somebody should bring Democracy to those UN countries that want the treaty. Shouldn't be too hard since their subjects are not armed.

Only cause it sucks. Its like muscle, you break the tissue, then it regrows stronger. Bush broke it as well anyhow. More like constitution being broken since I can remember or something.

We'll see how many blue hats are still standing after we're done "handing over" our ammunition.

Don't mess with Texas.

Well it's going to suck when our own police and national guard are working right alongside them. The blue helmets will be the ones actually doing the investigating and the "handling", but the moment you get all uppity, the local SWAT will be what pounces on you.

We would be better of concentrating on our own quislings and who sent them.

Only the useful idiots who don't know or have forgotten why the things that are in there are in there and why they are important. We have it because the US is supposed to be a nation of the rule of law, not the rule of whim.

^ Yeah, harking back to the days of the magna carta. I did think it was strange you needed to set up rules in order to be free. The constitution is nothing more, then trying to get a bunch of states to agree with stuff. Since I hate my state, the constitution doesn't really apply too much.

the constitution is federal, doesn't matter what state you're in P

Also state constitutions no one has ever read or cared about Big smile

I was talking about the historical forming of it. It is used now as a federal document, since the states usually suck so much, you have to use the constitution to make them do anything. But it is not really legally binding, since I or anyone could just move to another country if we so pleased.
