The ones who expect, and feel that they are entitled to "divine treatment," simply because they're women, using feminist dogma--the more radical of which would be considered hate-speech in Canada, just change the word "man" to say, "Black" or "Latino," or whatever, and see how it then sounds--to justify that mentality

Again, there seem to be an awful lot of those hereabouts--these are my particular un-favourites.

(I won't even consider dating North American women--at all--anymore, because all the ones I have, have shown this mentality, for example. I am not a walking ATM machine that you are entitled to just because you offer a dip in a stinking...errrm..."high-mileage" hole in "exchange" either, so don't flatter yourself honey: I can hire a prostitute or an escort any time I like for that...)

Knitting- I nearly put my eye out trying it, then the TSA took it form me at the airport- something about Granny hijacking the plane with them

Baking- I would tell you what the fire marshal said, but the forum has filters for that sort of thing

Dancing- I do love to shake my posterior, but it has a habit of shaking back:(

Wanting equal treatment, is not divine treatment. The fact that you think we are asking for it, illustrates what sexism inherently is. Heaven forbid (pun intended) women have equal rights, or minorities have a protected space outside of the default culture groups. Try, for just one minute to get out of your privilege bubble and think of what it is like being other people.

Everyone understands or should at least, all it matter is that you have a happy life and doesn't matter what you do in your personal life, but if you become some kind of heavy weight about what your butt is capable of vs a girl and start being another heavy weight messing with heteros you know in the end you can't expect them to just look at you and say "hello".

I just can't stand this behaviour and can eve become kinda aggressive because most of those people don't know when to stop.
If some one tells you to move along "sry I'm hetero" just move on, if you do then you're just a good guy and we will have some drinks because I don't give a crap what you do with your rear the moment you enjoy your life and you act like someone else, if you don't understand and make your heavy weight insisting you're gonna get my fist and probably some kicks in the face. Unfortunately there are far too many of the second kind, that's what is becoming a serious problem for your own community.

In the end, all I have to say about this is that many if not most of those people just make them selves dislike/hate because of their own behaviour. It has nothing to do with racism, but protection from some perpetual aggression from those so claimed victims of their body, they should fill petitions to god instead of shitting on someone else shoes.

I'll probably get a ban for this but at least I said what I had in my hart about this stuff, being permanently bored by those people since my young age I just have really bad time standing close to. You guys should maybe change your behaviour to be better accepted, after all we're in 2012, even for an old troll like me.
This being said, I have gay friends that understood my "stuff" is girls and they never ever mess with that because I respect them as long as they respect me. And believe me we have kinda good laughs.

And the privilege in those ****** jobs comes in the sense that woman aren't expected to have to take those jobs, whereas men are. How many female coal-miners have you ever seen? How many females have you seen for whom it's "take that coal-mining job, or face the dole/homelessness?"

This thread gets +10 ignorance about minorities and misogyny save for the decent chaps who have more than digital experience with women and possess the anatomy to not cut females down to make themselves feel better. Plus, there are some cool, rather mature, kids too.

As far as announcing one's gender. I've only recently begun to be somewhat vocal about it.

WHY?

I've been in fleets that ****if I hadn't preemptively let boys recover from shock at a female voice ***** while others suspected voice hacks, half the fleet+ would have died, I suspect, with an unsuspecting girl providing intel during an op.


This is sad.

There are other reasons, but that's a start for now.

Otherwise, in good fleets/corps I've been in, I'm just one of the guys...eventually.

P.S. If you send me gifts (just because I'm female) I'll send you a thank-you card and buy your destruction for I wouldn't waste my own time and ammo. I too let the kiddies know I'm "old" as someone posted.

In almost every MMO I play + Diablo 3, females are the only "minority" that feel the need to create these threads, for whatever reason.

Never mind the fact that some posts by obvious males already hint that, how in the world can you tell whether someone is really male or female on the Internet? What purpose does this thread serve? You will never be able to tell who the real females are.

Isn't it enough to just be a gamer? Do you need to announce to the whole world that you are female? Is revealing your gender even needed to play the game? I never feel the need to reveal that I am asian because it is not a criteria to rat, do missions, trade, etc.
