Give the mack it's 37500m3 ore bay back pls + other mining barge feedback

actually i will add some comment back here - without the larger bay there is not enough to differentiate it from the tech 1 variant. there is more tank (good), but there should be a larger hold, and the ore yield difference between T1 and T2 be more

perhaps 2% per level yield increase, give it back it's former cargo hold (25000 + 10%/level)

actually give the skiff a utility high (limit 1 strip, but a second high) for a probe launcher, and a CPU boost/pro launcher CPU usage bonus. enhance it's deepspace mining role.

the barges/exhumers need to be able to have more locked targets, and again laser crystals either need to be smaller or main cargoholds bigger.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

yes, give the mack it's ore bay back, the current size difference between the mack and retriever is pathetic. yield difference is fine.

the skiff doesn't need a utility slot.

The ore bays should be large enough to fit a number of fully buffed cycles of the ship s in question.

Covetor / Hulk - 2 cycles
Retriever / Mackinaw - 8 to 10
Procurer / Skiff - 4 to 5

If the mack can only hold a few more cycles then the skiff then why would I ever need use it.


I also think the Tech 1 barges need to have a few slots added to the mids / lows. With a scanner taking up the 1 mid on a skiff you are forced to attempt to armor tank it. I would think Maybe something like:

Covetor 3H / 3M / 2L
Retriever 2H / 2M / 3L
Procurer 1H / 4M / 1L

Just an Idea.

no, adding tank to the barges would further castrate the already crap mackinaw. tank is the only thing that separates the mackipoor from the retriever.

Just sold my hulk and bought a mackinaw, guess I might as well just use a retriever

My mack on sisi at present holds 31250... or realistically 31 blocks.. that should be 7 cycles if the mack role bonus worked correctly... which it does not.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

role bonus works fine, you just refuse to read the ship's description and realise the role bonus has changed. now go and read it so you don't keep making a fool of yourself.
