Ice Harvesters Still Glitching

Simple set up, Mackinaw, no fleet. 2 Harvester II's.. I get only one or two cycles before the harvesters glitch and start giving me only 2 blocks instead of 4 (very consistantly and sometimes I get no 4 block cycles at all even at on fresh start up.). Powering off the harvesters does not produce the missing blocks. Can we finally get a fix for this before we start adding stuff?

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

look at me, now look at the description of your mackinaw, now back at me. do you see the issue?

yes I do ... you need to use soap when you wash.

so what you are saying is that the "Version 2" of this ship is worse than the "version 1" by design? I don't buy that explanation. because my ship gave me 4 block 2 times in 9 cycles..

no this is obviously not true as I got 4 blocks in the first cycle... what's more this has never been the case in the past... so go back to your pvp forum.

then that is the bug, the fact that you did get 4 blocks. i don't pvp, how about you read your ship description as i suggested. there's no way to get 4 blocks of ice per cycle from a ship that can't fit 4 ice harvesters.

what? did you start playing yesterday? One of the sales point of the mack has always been about the extra blocks per cycle..allowing the mack to out perform the hulk in ice mining...because that was it's role.

So ccp, what's going on? why do I still get 4 blocks sometimes if this is not supposed to be an ice advantaged harvester anymore?

THEY CHANGED THE ROLE BONUSES OF ALL THE BARGES, READ THE DAMN DESCRIPTIONS ON TEST SERVER FFS.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

i didn't say it was "just a hauler" i said it was a pseudo hauler because that's it's role; to hold a vast quantity of ore.

the hulk will mine pretty much the exact amount of ice per hour as the mackinaw used to [when truncated each hour].
so; change ship, stop complaining, and read before making pointless threads.

To be more clear:
The Mackinaw has just had a role change on Sisi, due for release to Tranquility with the 1.2 release.

It is no longer an ice-mining specialty ship.

The bonuses have changed and it should not be giving 2 blocks per ice-miner cycle at all, if it does that is a bug.

I thought the OP was talking more about the bug in which a cycle completes and you don't get a block at all. Sometimes if you turned off the module, the block would pop into your inventory, sometimes it wouldn't. Since the title was about the module glitching, and not the role bonus of the ships.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
