BUT I'd like to say that in general I'd never encourage men and women not to tell a boy/girl they like that they like him/her for some reason. I think it's more of an issue in general communication between people that they're not open enough about telling nice things to people they likeBig smile

I also get all the time that EVE players like how I communicate with them and make nice User Interface features they like, that stuff makes me more happy because then I know I'm doing the right thing at work, and that's all I want to do - make you guys happy with what I make at work!


And I completely agree with you, if a compliment in general is owed it should be given. Be it a piece of art, style, accomplishment and etc... But everything has a limit, people just need to learn what that is...

Take your work at CCP, you do a great job. If someone was to start a thread about you, in my opinion it should be about your work. It shouldn't be creepy "OMG you're so hot....etc etc etc"

Sorry for selectively quoting, I know you don't like it but I think this stands on its own quite well.

It is a huge issue that we are made to feel that we can't be honest and open with each other about certain things without being labled as 'creepy' or 'douchey'. I've often found myself keeping my feelings for others to myself, and it has cost me in the long run. All because I didn't want to come across as a 'creep' or because I thought that such attention would be unwanted.

Wear your heart on your sleeve, people will love you more for it.

You'd be surprised how many men and women have changed their style/ways when it comes to the whole attraction thing because flat up saying "I like you." to someone = plane crash in middle school / high school. I imagine it's even worse nowadays because "dem" teenagers "be swagging on yo" and "shizz lik dat".

Sigh... the degenerative generations are on the way to adulthood -.-
