Drama in eve is good

Back when I was a test alliance pilot for a litte period, I learned something about human nature... not something that wasn't known to people abroad, but for me it became specially obvious in eve, that drama is the fuel of eve. It's like being in a small hut on the middle of the ice in a cold winter... you and 5 of your friends are freezing to death... oh and some guy named Joe that no one likes... to survive you all decide to burn Joe to provide some heat for a period... that is the basic function of drama...

Okay maybe not the best example, but really It's about having someone you all have together and flocking around them... it creates a form of social strengthening within your own groups... which is a good thing for the groups

For eve to be successful, there needs to be hate and fighting... demonising eachother and so on

Now I a posting this here because some people at CCP fail to understand this concept :) asking us to be polite, not to trash talk, and so on... and I guess same thing goes for the forums... hate is good. :) join the dark side maybe?

QFT - the last time I really actively played the game, I went to nullsec to displace a group of players I strongly disliked. I hate capital blobs and structure grinds, but the pure fact that it hurt people I deeply disdained made it worthwhile.

I wasn't even remotely interested in their space - left as soon as I knew their demise was 100% certain.

Today, there's noone left to hate, so no purpose...

The goons and test have been sacrificing themselves for a long time, trying to create drama for the rest of eve... to make everyone else hate them :3
