Hi-Sec PVP question

Is it possible to escape the wrath of Concord if you kill someone’s ship in hi-sec? I’m not talking about corporate, alliance or faction warfare; I’m talking about the scenario where you shoot someone unprovoked and you are the aggressor. I know that it takes Concord some time to arrive on the scene, but can you jump out of the system or warp to a safe bookmark before they pod you?

It's possible to do, but it's also considered an exploit so even if you figure out how to do it, don't.

NO

This would be an exploit and so not permissible.

Scammers are currently selling killrights on this toon for up to 5mil, if you have paid for this service demand your money back at once.

Killing me should be for free.

Concord doesn't pod you. In addition avoiding getting your ship blown up after aggressing in hisec counts as an exploit

Understood, by pod, I meant kill my ship and leave me floating in an egg; not pod kill me. I'm aware that no NPC will pod kill you.

I find it odd that it's an exploit to evade the local authorities... Go figure

Okay, just to make this clear.

Concord is simply a roleplay explanation for a gameplay mechanic that is designed specifically in order that you must lose your current ship if you incur a Global Criminal Countdown timer in high security space.

As this is a specifically intended gameplay mechanic rather than a local authority (The navy is an example of a local authority, you may evade them) it is an exploit to avoid losing your ship once you have been flagged with a global criminal countdown in high security space and often results in a hefty penalty (Usually a period by which your account is suspended).

Ridiculed don't forget being ridiculed!

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

I, too, make insinuations that I'm well-versed in high-sec PvP while simultaneously posting on an NPC corp alt so nobody can come after me

Can you eject from your ship while waiting for concorde to finish their coffee + doughnuts?

I know . about pvp but if concorde don't pod kill, and you eject from the ship, will they shoot an unpiloted ship?

Sleepers will hit your pod if you **** around long enough. Granted it will take them a minute to get around to it and they will prioritize any other ship that is on grid above yours. (the only ships they won't shoot are polaris frigates and the zephyr)

And the reason it's an exploit is because if it wasn't goonswarm would have converted highsec into a shooting gallery by using alpha tornadoes to KILL ALL THE THINGS.

Is there any other way to spell out "It's an exploit to dodge Concord."?

It is not possible to board an empty ship while said ship is targeted by anything, with one exception. The single exception is if you were the last pilot you may re-board your ship while the ship is targeted.

When you click through the Concord Warning, you are insta targeted and warp scrambled. If you eject from your ship, no one other than yourself will be able to board, as it is targeted by Concord / Faction Police.

Also, while under GCC timer, you will not be able to board other ships in space. (Say a buddy ejects so you can board and attempt to re-gank)
