Where do you think I got that from?
Pod pilot controls the ship, though there is a small crew to maintain the internal bits. Frigates and shuttles are small enough that they don't need the crew, and Gallente destroyers, while ordinarily large enough to have a small crew (probably), can do without thanks to Gallente advances in drone tech. For the same reason, larger Gallente ships tend to have smaller crews than their equivalent ships from other races.

Not according to the Templar One novel ,which mentions crews of thousands, and one Chapter starts off with the release of hundreds of escape capsules from a Myrmidon...

Neither. It's a submarine in "space".

edit: it's because of the warp drive thingy creating "drag" in space. BTW I just kicked Alduin's butt so giev likes etc.
