I don't see why the rivur'tam is banned from this service thats like making out black people are all thiefs because most of them steal or that Jews are greedy because most of them are and that very good looking and popular people can't spell because most of them can't and assuming fourm whores live in there moms basement and are fat virgins because most of them are.

I would post on my main which is Negative Ten, but its not logged in right now and apparently it doesn't matter if I post with a main/alt, so i'll just post on this alt.

1) Negative Ten already has a pretty good reputation for honouring ransoms, so its pretty funny that you would ban them from this service.

2) The key issue with this is it gives the victim time to think, which when most people begin to rationalize whats happening, they're much less likely to accept a ransom. Ransoms have a much higher success rate when the convo is kept to its simplest forms and capitalize on the panic of the victim.

I assure you that "Give ISK or die!" and receiving panicked ISK within 10 seconds of telling them how much will always be more successful than, "To prove that I am legitimate in my ransom attempt, I urge you to join this channel, its a third party ransom service so you know i'm not scamming you." Just the fact that you have to bring up the fact that they might be scammed and putting that in their mind is going to give them enough second thought to decide not to want to do it.

The majority of people don't pay ransoms because they've thought out whether or not the other party can be trusted, they pay because they're freaking out over losing their ship and did a quick numbers crunch on what would be a smaller loss.

Just for the record, I didnt rage when I received the mail. I lolled very hard then read again then forwarded it to another director to cheer him up. He then put it on our forums for our whole alliance to laugh and then you posted this neg ten appreciation post.

Was just responding to a tuskers argument, don't try to change tack just cos you lot post silly things.
