So how do we know if our submissions are along the right lines? I emailed awhile ago but didn't get any feedback or anything.

Do I just take the hint and move on or keep sending stuff!?

There are a few possibilities

1) Zap has taken a holiday
2) There have been so many submissions he is overwelmed
3) Two hundred purple backed nerfherds attacked him while he slept and painted him in Hello Kitty colours.

I am betting 3. I am waiting as well. Time will pass and the world will turn. Things take time

Anyone get any feedback from Zapatero, or submit anything and get a response? It seems like he's very busy....

I sent one myself though it was a bit long... I wish we would get some sort of response soon though in the writing industry isn't 6 weeks or so the norm?

So not particularly worried, though I've got a second one that's much shorter and might be good for this but I have no idea of the policy with simultaneous submissions or anything of that nature so I'm hesitant to send it.

I'm just wondering what word count EON prefers for stories. No use writing something that doesn't fit into the publication's format. Anybody have any hints or clues?

Thank you almighty Eon for publishing my short piece. It was a nice surprise.

Plus added bonus, I appeal in all my beer belly glore as a Avatar in the front pages. Happy days

Congrats! Are these stories exclusive to Eon or can we see them somewhere in the web too?

I believe they are EON only. Even if not the case I wouldn't release on general principle as it was done to support EON mag. So you will just have to go and buy it if you want to read it Big smileLolRoll
