20% bonus to blaster DPS?!

CCP seems to have lost direction.

Autocannons are supposed to be high damage medium range and zero cap cost for the trade off of higher ISK cost.

People have YEARS of SP invested in ACs, they must remain the clear dominant system or people will simply quit the game.

If CCP wants to increase DPS it should be paper only, allowing full damage with multiple tracking enhancers. This would make the blasternoobs happy without shifting the status quo.

Rifter = BiS frigate
Rupture = BiS cruiser
Hurricane = BiS battlecruiser
Tempest = BiS battleship

Commonality? Autocannons. We are the majority, think long and hard about the future of EVE before destroying the game, that is all we ask.

Maybe CCP should introduce a third gun type...

something like phasers - a weapon system with incredibly high cap use and fitting requirements but mediocre damage and really bad tracking. I bet people would love that.

And pirate corps will force you to get at least one solo kill with phasers before processing your application. Like a gang initiation thing.
