Hey people.

I am looking for a support role Loki... Not sure if this is possible and I did an unsuccessfull search but I am getting pretty good leadersip skills and would like to fly an AHAC boosting loki.

Would be looking for armour boosting obviously and arty dps to stay at range yet still help with volley..

Does/Can such a beast exist?

I have no need for probing.

Is it possible to combine armour boosting with interdiction manouvers?

Sorry if noobish boosting questions, but I really just don't know.

Edit - I can also train for a Proteus if that is the better route. not interested in Legion.

Yes, you can put Armor and Skirmish links on a ship (and Loki is a very good link ship)
No, you can't get a Loki fit with multiple links, Arty and a decent tank (and don't fit Arty on an AHAC ship).
If you want to fly a Loki, fit an AC/Web Loki and leave the boosting to offgrid alts
If you want to idle on grid and boost, you should take a look at Damnation/Claymore/Eos

While I agree with all of those points, Arty Lokis are the only way to go if you want to DPS in a Zealot gang, ACs dont have the projection.

Also, booster T3s are generally OGB, (Off Grid Booster) due to their lack of tank or other utility, correctly fitted they can also be nigh unprobable.

Edit: yeah, I got mixed up between AHAC and the Muninn gangs we used to run. I will try and modify to have links and AC's..
not sure if viable but will have a go.

You probably want a CS rather than a T3 then, and AHACs are Armour HACs with ABs for sig tanking (Generally Zealots)

There are different kinds of AHAC gangs

AB Zealots (+ webbing Lokis) with great damage projection and sigtanking/AB and Guardian-support

Brawling AHACS (mostly Deimos) with MWDs and Oneiros-support

For the first kind AC Lokis are completely useless, as they, as mentioned above, lack damage projection.

Do what you want in this game, but I'm going to be very clear:
An on-grid boosting Loki with Artys (or ACs, doesn't really matter) WILL be a liability for your gang. You will do no significant damage, have insufficient tank, no webs and do worse boosting than an off-grid booster. You will get primaried and die, leaving your gang without links, which is a major part of the gangs tank in this setup.

Thanks for feedback

I found a Claymore fit for our NANO gangs that we run pretty regularly.

So far in looking around, there doesn't seem to be a non-Amarr alternative for on grid armour gang boosting..

will keep checking.

As per above - We used to fly arty shield Muninns which, while not very popular, were really effective.

Now we are starting to run AHAC gangs again even though I prefer the old style Muninn gangs.
Just looking to leverage my leadership skills to try and help out the gang in a unique way.
