Ore bays on Orca & Rorqual

Just wondering if the ore bays on these ships are going to be increased, as the new ore bays on the barges kinda make these a bit obsolete.

yes - buff ore bays :P

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Or not. I don't mine, so I don't care, but looking at the mining system within the game that others use, I wonder if they need a buff or not. I suppose the capital industrials will mostly be used in fleets with Covetors or Hulks anyway, and their smaller bays need the support, so maybe this is a moot point.

While I would really like to see it happen it is not needed one bit, the hulk at its worst (no MLUII and exhumers 1) is only 1 m3 per second of ore less that a perfect mackinaw. No implants on either perfect or a booster.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

That is exactly the point.
In some cases ie a large fleet it will be better to switch to macks and take a hit on the yield. and drop the haulers
However if you have the hauler and they are available there is no reason why you can't use them to pull from people that are using Cov's and Hulks while the Macks do there own hauling so to speak.

Now that I think about it how about making Ore hold rigs (could just make a large set) that give alot better bonuses then say the current cargo hold rigs.

Then it is just a matter of flipping one out for the other.

You would get the a overall boost in hauling capacity but it would be ORE instead of general goods.
