As a young player, what choices do I have to legally take advantage of the weak?

Yea I wont be doing it to rookies at all. No fun picking on the little kid in the park. Besides, they have nothing to offer. I hope with luck to maybe get a big fat orca or something worth a bit of money which makes me ask....

Can I ransom these people in Hi Sec?

You certainly can,

pay me x isk or you're in your pod

or

pay me x isk or you're in a new clone

depends if you're prepared to take the sec status hit from podding or not

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I think this early I will stay away from pod killing anyone. Unless of course they have done so to me already. What advice can anyone give on potential targets. I may have went about things wrong last night. I found a couple hulks out mining, neither of which was dropping cans to store their minerals. Even so, I dont think they'd be equipped to aggress me anyhow.

Yeah, if they're not jetcanning, you've got limited options. Unfortunately, with the new Barge buffs, jetcan mining's going the way of the Dodo.

You'd be surprised what a Catalyst or a Thorax can flipper can do. Read Cannibal Kane's posts. They will point you in the right direction.

Just as I was writing this I was reminded on TS that we are actually at war with Kane's corp. Fancy that!

I will give this serious consideration if I start another character.

It does me good to see you fine folks teaching people the mechanics of EVE the proper way to use the mechanics.

Just keep it out of rookie systems, ok?

The most hardcore of PvPers always hang around high-sec flipping cans, earning kill mails on ridiculously overpowered ships like mining frigs and industrial haulers. Those men and women should truly make the masses of EVE quake from their awe-inspiring wanton massacre of defenseless bears.

Thanks for the compliment, calling us hardcore and such.

I mean, we've never said we were Hardcore, Elite, or anything of the sort. We gank because it's profitable and amusing (when we're bored, that is) to pick on those too stupid or lazy to defend themselves.

The only people calling Can-Flippers and Suicide Gankers "Hardcore," "Elite," or any of that other nonsense are their victims. Not everyone cares if what they're doing is difficult (miners certainly don't), some people just want to relax, sit down with a beer, chat with friends, and gank a few miners.

You can learn how to get out of high-sec.

One of the interesting activities you will be learning soon is called 'corp hopping'.

It won't be long before someone takes affront to your post and wardecs your corp. Once you realize that it's you who's being picked on instead of the other way around, you will leave it and run away from real PVP.

I'm going to run a locator on you just for fun when I next log in. If anyone wants to have some fun with you, they can drop me a mail and I'll tell them exactly where you are.
