What's the typical distance between an acceleration gate and a deadspace site?

See title. Yep, I'm wondering if it's possible to get to the deadspace site with a MWD frigate in a reasonable time.

Typical is about 10,000 km. With an interceptor or a fast MWD frigate you can cover the distance in about 2 hours. Been there, done that (don't ask) and just in the nick of time before downtime Ugh

This. It can be done. It's not exciting. Triangulating via dscan is... annoying.

in a ship going about 5000 m/s it takes about a half hour.

10000km/(5km/s*60s)=33 1/3 minutes

If it's actually possible to do this, then probing someone down should allow you to warp directly to them, which it doesn't. It always puts you at the first gate.

Working as intended. You could always slow boat from the gate though (not that you'd want to).
