I probably have the soul of an accountant but one of the things that intrigues me is the profit/loss of the tournament.

For example VoC spent:
practice time on Sisi (essentially free, discounting opportunity cost)
entry fee
ship reimbursement? or did individual pilots pay for their own ships?
anything else I might have missed

and gained
battlefield loot
50 * ownspreys worth ???
bets on themselves?
generous isk donations from crazed groupies?

Could some of the competitors fill in the blanks please? I'd love to know how much people made or lost and I can't be the only wannabe accountant playing Eve. (There's probably some real accountants too for that matter).

It would also be interesting to know how different Alliances and individuals within those alliances finance it. Do megarich PL have shiny replacement ships chauffeur-delivered to their pilots while other people have to spend 6 hours running high sec delivery missions every time their ship blows up?

Finally how did the top two teams divvy the loot?

I am not sure exactly how much info we can provide to you. While we are glad to share some of our adventures during the ATX with the public, I am sure you and others will understand that there are things we have learned that we would rather keep to ourselves. I will try to answer any question I can:

Practice time on SiSi: Not sure on overall hours, but judging by our killboard the activity falloff happened in June and July.
Entry Fee: 46 Plex, very first bid on first auction (People accused us of trolling and intentionally driving up the price to 46 Plex)
Reimbursement: All ships paid by the Alliance.

Battlefield Loot: Unknown ATM
Betting: Lots. LOTS! I don't have the numbers for the alliance but I personally won around 7bil betting on CRIT.
Groupies: Some, though they prefer to remain anonymous

Financing: We live in w-space, there is no shortage of ISK.

Tourney Prizes: Working on the method to split it up, interest in the Etanas is through the roof.
