Wormhole De-cloak Problem

After DT today I found myself to be de-cloaked quite often when orbiting a wormhole. On the overview, I was ~7k - 15k (different orbits on different holes) out from the wormhole. When attempting to cloak back up, I get the error that I was within 2k of "nearby cosmic signature."

Is there a problem with sigs not lining up with it's related wormhole today?

For those of you that will no doubt want to say that it is pilot error or w/e: There was no other objects on grid, no probes, no corpse, no other ships, etc...; My orbit never changed, I didn't mistakenly hit any key or button, there was no entry via wormhole unless an activation never produced it's sound, though my eyes were glued to the screen and I didn't see any visual activations.

On a side note, I noticed on the solar system map that a single sig was producing three unstable wormholes layered on top of each other, though only scanning down to one. I tried looking on a different client on a different box yet they remained. I haven't noticed this kind of behavior before.

If you are experiencing issues with the game please feel free to create a Petition or Bug Report (there is even a great in-game tool).

We rather have to many Bug Reports than to miss an issue because nobody reported it (there was a case not long ago but I rather not go into details Oops).

Fly Save.
(nice showing at ATX btw Pirate)

The Cosmic Signature thing is quite common, and can be a massive pain in the arse. As far as I know, the cosmic signature is an object (that can occasionally be selected from your screen) which is where the scan signature is, but the wormhole itself can be a few KM away. This cosmic signature can, and will, decloak you if you go close to it.
I'm not sure what causes the signature to not be on the wormhole, but there you go...

The "multiple wormholes layered" is news to me, however.

As tgl3 pointed out, the Cosmic Signature itself (which is the thing you scan down) does that to people. You might be able to pick its bracket up by zooming out all the way, selecting the bracket, and then zooming back in.

The issue with wormholes "stacked" upon each other is strange, though; are you sure you weren't getting an unusually strong hit, but from only 3 probes that were practically atop another?

Positive. You know when you have gone on grid of a wh, you can see it from your map regardless of where you are at in that system (without leaving the system though of course). After I would make it on grid after probing down the wh, I would pull my drones and look at my map to see three wormholes on map, layered on the same spot. Seeing this, I re-probed the wh and it would be only one sig.

Like I said in my OP, I did this on an alt as well on a different box and experienced the same thing. This only happened that day.

Strange indeed. Beats me, that's for sure!
