Hello,

I am well aware of this deadly little frigate but I have 1 problem with it.

It might have daredevil dps with rockets, it might go 700m/s faster than every other AF, it might have 20% more ehp, double the active tank but its lacking 1 thing that CCP added to AFs to stop them from being instaowned by every single ship in the game.

That precious sig radius bonus.

Without it, its a very expensive hawk that will die before it does any damage.

So why did CCP ignore all the alliance tournament AF's when they gave the AF the sig bonus?

I think it is weird that it is an Assault Frigate that doesn't require the Assault Frigate skill to fly.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

It gets a bonus from the Assault Frigate skill.

However, to fly it you only need a very modest Caldari Frigate skill.

the fact, that utu has 50% bonus to scram and point range doesn't make it electronic assault frigate. or 50% reduction in heat damage doesn't make it t3 cruiser. it's just a special frigate with special role bonus and should be placed in line with other ships.

It isn't a role bonus, it is a bonus per level of Assault Frigate, which very much makes it an Assault Frigate.

Emmm who cares? Not like anyone is ever stupid enough to actually undock the damn thing.

That's close to my take. There are ships more in need of balance simply by the fact that there are too few tourny ships to matter. Anything instadeath by undocking and instakilling everything on screen should be more or less acceptable for these things for all I care.

For those few people who do use them: good for you. You deserve a decent ship. But for the rest of us to even have an opinion one way or another is kind of What?.

Take a look at my shiney red car, you need a lisence to drive it legally, but you could just jump in and drive it anyway

If the Cambion is like the Freki, then it also has three rig slots, but if you fit three rigs it won't let you undock. It only lets you fit two rigs, like an assfrig

In RL, not having the correct licence doesn't prevent from using something. In EVE it does.
