What if stealth-bomber and covert-ops frigates were allowed to jump through any Jump Bridge?

So i was running on the treadmill and for no reason whatsoever this idea appeared in my head. I'm not really proposing, but what you people think would be the consequences (good and bad) for allowing both stealth bombers and covert ops to jump through any and all jump bridges wether they have the standing or not?!

Discuss, maybe!?

People would just keep password protecting the bridges.

If you removed or allowed the ships to ignore that too....

Sign me up! It could be very fun. Plus, a great way to grief by spending an hour or two jumping back and forth till the fuel ran out.

Still, though it would be fun, I doubt this would ever be allowed.

I understand that you are going with the "stealth" part of the "stealth-bomber", but think for a second. You have a fleet sitting on a jump bridge and all of a sudden 500 stealth bombers jump in on top of you. Now your going to

A. jump out
B. fight
C. get tackled while trying to run away

Lets look at another point of reference. Your defending a system with a jump bridge in it. One red enters from an unknown location. Cyno, off your jump bridge, you can fill in the rest.

Point is that there are many reasons why this is a bad idea. I mean it would be nice to see people rethink the use of jump bridges, but not like this.

GM Homonoia: In other words; feel free to use the tactic, but don't be an utter and total ***.

CCP Tallest_: _And by "we have made it so", I mean Punkturis has made it so.

What if stealth bombers could also ignore standings / passwords for POSs?

What if stealth bomber pilots always appeared as neuts in local?

What if stealth bomber pilots didn't even appear in local?

What if kangaroos ate pizza at McDonalds on Thursdays?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

What if we just removed local?

But yea its a pretty bad idea.

Hmmmm, but what if you could temporarily "Hack" a Jump Bridge using the appropriate module, which would allow free use of the password protected bridge by anyone and everyone for 10 seconds.... Smile

I did said "covert ops frigates" and that excludes pretty much anything that is not a frigate =)

Yeah a lot of people saying it is a bad idea, but not saying why. Just saying "It's a bad idea" can be easilly countered with "No, it's a good idea."

So for those of you: No, it's a good idea.

On a similar note.. why not allow corps to set up public jump bridges with tolls? Anyone can use the jump bridge, but it automatically deducts a toll based on what they set. (Obviously would need a warning message)

What if we removed the star map (and associated APIs which provide "free intel")
