From what I gather the summit started on Wed. May 30th and concluded on Fri. June 1st. Add a couple of days to get back and settled in and start the clock running on Mon. June 4th. By my count that’s 45 days. I'm not blaming CCP as I understand they only recently got the draft for review.

As with any form of reporting, there is a balance between timeliness and accuracy. The former is pretty much out the window.

There is a real possibility the minutes will no longer be meaningful at this rate, whether due to topics no longer relevant (stuff fixed) or ideas already implemented.

For future's sake, figure out how to publish the minutes in a reasonably timely manner or the csm summit risks becoming inconsequential to the player base and the game as a whole.

The cool thing about this summit is that CCP spent most of it talking about plans for Winter Expansion and beyond, rather than reviewing all the stuff that's already going to be released. So while historically your fears might be justified, these minutes should be released with details of CCP's Winter plans, before they've actually begin the work on the Winter Expansion. This is a huge step forward, because it means that they should be quite useful for players providing feedback in a timely fashion.

Also, as Two step has said, all the sessions were given to CCP for approval as they were completed, so all but one final session is ready for release. As soon as we get approval, you'll have them!

Like a boss

Can you start releases them each day one at a time in the future? it's always crazy getting 3 days all at once, information overload. it would be cool if in future years bringing up the idea of staged releases, getting info out both faster, and spread out over time.?

might just be a daft suggestion but I felt the need to make it :P

Thank you. You have told us all we need to know about Kelduum without having to actually bite any of your fellow CSM members on the ass.

Please do not read into my words things that are not there -- you are only allowed to do that with dev posts, since they get paid to be misrepresented.

I have no complaints about the amount of work that Kelduum (for example) has been doing, and the circumstances that prevented him from doing more work on the minutes were entirely reasonable.

You're trying to be reasonable with pathetic stammerer... About an unreasonable thing (his >cough<"towering excitment>cough<) for E-Uni and everyone there.

Appreciate you guys getting the minutes out when/as you can.

God forbid real life should, like, be real... Roll

We're still right where we were as of Two step's last comment. Waiting on CCP for approval of the final session. (Remember they're mostly on vacation, so we're stuck harassing people that aren't even in the office about this) Once that happens, the CSM needs like 24-48 hours to read through the final edition ourselves before release.

It'll be a few more days, at least.

Shame they didn't wait maybe a week after the summit to allow you all enough time to do the minutes, before going on vacation. Wait a minute. They have 2-3 month vacations??

What?? No, CCP doesn't take 2 month vacations. Roll This is just a matter of timing. CCP was leaving on vacation right as we were wrapping up the minutes. There's not really much that could have been done to prevent this, no one's created minutes like these before, so there was no way for either the CSM or CCP to predict how long it would take.

LOL the problem was CCP waited almost 2 months after the summit to go on vacation but our CSM reps took so damn long.

I'd suggest you direct your disappointment to the CSM reps who didn't write any minutes, not to the ones that did, and have mostly been posting in this thread.

But they are so absent we have no idea where to look to direct our rage. Is there a way we can put it all in a Mason jar and had it to you. Then you can take it to their secret hiding spot and give it to them?

On a more serious note on the subject; why do you guys put up with CSM people who do nothing? Also what does CCP have to say about this? We, the players, would really like you to name those responsible for the minutes taking two months to deliver and more importantly, contribute little to nothing in the process of being a CSM representative.

At this point, I don't think that there is a process for removing CSM members who are not doing as much as others. How much can you really expect though from a volunteer group? When you are balancing work, family, friends, Eve enjoyment for yourself, and the volunteer tasks, how can the playerbase expect much when volunteer tasks would be pretty far down the list of priorities?

The playerbase can only vote in people based on what they say and it is easier to say a lot than to do a lot.

Oh come on. It's not had to out someone who has contributed little to nothing in the process. Also if your plate is already full with other obligations and you want to run for CSM too; you deserve to be ejected after it becomes obvious you have no time for it. "yeah but they are busy with other stuff so it's ok" is a bullshit excuse no one should except.
