Modules tooltips on the hud don't look "EVEish"

Hey,
in my opinion the new modules tooltips on the hud don't match the look'n'feel of the EVE UI and
It's not about the information they've started to provide but about the looks.

The modules icons are badly aligned to the text and the tooltip itself looks like it was
taken from a completely different game; it's also too big.

I think that it would much better if the design remained as it now on TQ but with added information about
the optimal range and fall-off.

Gonna say it again: the new tooltips are not EVEish !!!! Revert please, don't ignore :(

Regards,

Actually that is new EVE. Go look at the new war reports, the kill reports, the new FW interface and etc. Everything is gonna look like that soon. They all are being designed with the same sort of aesthetic.

the new looks of FW is not that bad. Everything is aligned properly in the window frame.
my main point is that the new modules tooltips looks very unproffesional (bad image alignment to the text)

^ the tooltip above was taken few moments ago on SiSi. Look at the icons and text text.
I think that the icons are completely unnecessary. Text-only tooltips would suffice.

The tooltips will look terribly odd for modules with longer names. The person who designed did not take
into consideration the sizes of different modules icons and resolutions (can u see that cluttered [F1] in the upper-right corner) ?

Yeah that's a lot of screen real estate for a mouse-over... Remove the icons and condense the nonsense!

Also, why list the ammo amount? it's shown in the actual button, it doesn't need to be in the mouseover too... and we don't need to see the dps once in space, that's part of planning and fitting, not flying. It just needs ammo type, optimal, and falloff tbh, maybe tracking speed too.

Knowing actual, effective range at a glance is nice... but the rest? I dunno... I'd rather see the damage TYPE and not the name of the ammo.

This looks like a half-solution until they do the UI redesign.

Agreed with above though, falloff range is nice, and it would be nice to see damage type over the ammo name. Or just a better and more graphical way to organize would be better?

Is there any kind of delay timer on the tooltips yet?

Instant tooltips are the worst - 98% of the time you want to move in and click on something, not be swamped with tooltip chaff all over the UI cluttering your view.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

No doubt. Get with the times CCP. Tooltips are like a 10 yr old standard... where's the delay? Do i really need to see all that crap pop up during a fight?

Really, you guys dropped the ball on this.

TOOLTIP DELAY. Duh. Did you not notice how annoying this is while you were testing it?

I guess their answer is here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=43923

We updated the new module button tooltips today, Friday, in Inferno 1.2.2, based on your feedback.

Please find information on the new and updated tooltips in this post from CCP Soundwave: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=142498

We'd love to hear your feedback on today's update in that thread.
