This is almost all wrong, First of all no the beacons are not in scan range of eachothers, second of all they never warped to us, when you are brought into system your team is dropped at your beacon in formation. When there team was brought into system something happened where they started being dropped at our beacon bumping our ships around. No ship models appeared but a few of them did flash on our overview, no idea if they even seen our comp but we seen half of there's. Due to a disconnect by one of our kroni it was the least of our concern, and it affected our game plan in no way, the only thing it could have affected is them warping to range because they seen our comp. None the less we did get on top of them, and the fight played out more or less how it should have and they won due to some excellent piloting and a few key mistakes by us. They were never allowed to warp to us and it was a minor mistake made by CCP for dropping them on us.

Tough luck.

About same thing happened to us. in our match versus Evoke we fielded our Flagship Bhaalgorn which we submitted under name Stoffer disband this! Due to hectic preparations of the match i forgot to rename it to that name as i was more focused to sort out last details for my team. We fielded it under name Flag.

After the match we expected either some penalty or even disqualification for Evoke match. Noone from CCP said anything about it and we concluded that we are fine.

For Mildly Intoxicated match we wanted to field our flagship setup again. There was some word on it on ISD forums etc that we did this mistake. So i acted upon it when GM contacted me about move preparations and asked clarification. 10 Minutes before the move we were told we cant field our flagship. At that point there was no time left to do refits and setup dont work without faction stuff.

So we had to go with whatever we had left sorting last ships literally seconds before the move.

Yeah when they mentioned this, I thought it was the most ****-tarded thing I've ever heard... the rule makers/enforcers need to get their heads out of their collective arses. "Oh your ship had the wrong name, you can't use that ship!" ****-ing idiots.

Fam FanFan gtfo. Verge beat us straight up. Great fight, won by the better team. Period.

There were minor bugs/bumps that have been passed to CCP to improve next year's tournament. Those issues did not affect this fight. I sure hope your main is not in our alliance b/c you are a douche.

Nice troll, its a shame that some people have to try and ruin what was in my opinion the best match of the tournament. We too had some D/C issues before the fight and one of our guys had a blank black screen when he was transported to the tournament system.

Neither team had an advantage over the other in this match. We had an amazing fight and it should be remembered as such.

Agreed

GF's were had by all, you guys deserved to win because you outplayed us congratz and maybe we will see each other on the
battlefield.

I can say, with no doubt in my mind that VoC was the hardest competition we faced in the tournament. Their pilots and their communication was absolutely amazing. It's not very often a group of pilots make me feel useless. I can't give enough kudos to them. They deserved this victory.

Dude... whoever is bitching...

The match was awesome.

Verge came in at range in almost every fleet comp that I can remember the entire tournament. Why would that change here?

Beat us fair and square.

Was fun, will do again :-)

Job well done by Verge to win it all - congrats.
