Verge was given an unfair advantage against the Exodus team by CCP!

According to sources, before the start of the match some of the Verge ships were allowed, by CCP, to warp to the Exodus staging beacon This being that each team has a staging beacon that they warp to before entering the tournament arena. It allowed Verge to warp in at a better position to counter the Exodus fleet.

The questions now become: Did Verge deserve to win that fight or even the entire tournament? Should CCP have delayed the fight for reshipping due to their error? Was it an accident that CCP allowed some of Verge to see the Exodus team before the match? Should there be some recompense from CCP to Exodus for this folly? Should there be any actions taken against the CCP member for allowing such an act to happen?

Other questions and discussions may arise but I leave that to the community. All I know is that this leaves a sour taste for an overall great tournament.

yes is true i was allowed to warp to their beacon in a clocky ship whit a secret scanner that can scan ships while being clocked then we decided on the best team to counter them and we got transported all back to reship and then we got all transported back

Sour along with Bacon .. sounds good

Quote:

200 g Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Oil
110 ml Water
200 g Sour Cream
Salt und Pepper, Muskat
2 Onions
100 g Bacon Stripes or bubed

Mix Flour, Salt, Oil and Water into a mixture which isnt sticky on the hand anymore, may need to add some additional Flour.
Mix Sour Cream, Salt, Pepper and Muskat.
Slice the Onions into thin stripes.

Roll out the mixture until its very thin, put some of the Cream on it (like you know it from Pizza), then the Bacon and Onions.

Put it into the oven for 20 minutes at 200°

Tough luck.

About same thing happened to us. in our match versus Evoke we fielded our Flagship Bhaalgorn which we submitted under name Stoffer disband this! Due to hectic preparations of the match i forgot to rename it to that name as i was more focused to sort out last details for my team. We fielded it under name Flag.

After the match we expected either some penalty or even disqualification for Evoke match. Noone from CCP said anything about it and we concluded that we are fine.

For Mildly Intoxicated match we wanted to field our flagship setup again. There was some word on it on ISD forums etc that we did this mistake. So i acted upon it when GM contacted me about move preparations and asked clarification. 10 Minutes before the move we were told we cant field our flagship. At that point there was no time left to do refits and setup dont work without faction stuff.

So we had to go with whatever we had left sorting last ships literally seconds before the move.

Is it fair to rid tournament of 30 billion isk flagship? Most expensive one ever fielded since flagship rule was introduced over such minor rule infraction? With 3 draclira neutralizers, 3 Vizan heat sinks and 3 Gotan webs and Cormack Smartbomb?

Draw your own conclusions.

In retrospect if we fielded our Evoke match setup Mildly would lose the match with 0 chances vs that setup. Instead we went with ECM setup and ran on perfect counter more or less. That combined with flawless flying from Mildly sealed the match despite our best efforts.

So congrats to Mildly.

Thanks CCP for tournament. Thanks for all our opponents for good fights.

I have to add that im proud on my Team. You guys did great.

I agree the flagship rules are ******** and also may as well be renamed to "Pimped Bhaalmobile" instead of flagship because all others battleships are worthless to bring besides maybe a vindi.

Ugh. This isn't a big deal. Apparently they wrapped through us so we knew before hand it was an eos and a ishkur. That was it. Did it change the fact we lost? Not at all. We contacted the GM and told them about the issue. We where more worried about one of our vindi pilots who dc'ed while on the beacon. Gf voc won, we lost. We had fun flying in the tourney. There is always next year.

Nice troll, its a shame that some people have to try and ruin what was in my opinion the best match of the tournament. We too had some D/C issues before the fight and one of our guys had a blank black screen when he was transported to the tournament system.

Neither team had an advantage over the other in this match. We had an amazing fight and it should be remembered as such.
