I keep crashing too. I dont like to pay for things I cant use. The only thing keeping some people in is the work they have put in. I am thinking about the work I put in to earn my real money. I need help to remain an EVE player.

would be interesting to see some pingplotter traces from other people having problems in case theres some common node that isn't working.

I'm having the problem with constant disconnects. It says Socket closed and then throws me out of game, back to login screen. Everything else that needs internet connection works normally at the same time.

Any ideas how to handle this, it's getting irritating getting dc every 5-6 minutes.

think Ive found a solution to this hit "esc" in game under the "reset settings" tab click "clear next to "clear all cache files" so far its been working. hope this helps. credit for fix goes to my corp mate Enso Torus

ya sorry all Its not working I got a hour in game after clearing cache and Im back to Im lucky if I can stay in 10 mins this is really starting to tick me off

I seem to be having this problem too.

My ISP is Virgin Media. (UK)


I can last from 3 min to a hour, but I always disconnect, it seems to happen much faster if I have two clients open.

I have been having this problem for awhile now, EVE is totally unplayable.

Has there been any developments?

I just updated to 1.2 inferno and the problem still exists.

Aftr te patch before this, i got "the socket was closed" on all my accounts. Filed a tech petition it was magically fixed. CCP patched even and here go again. cant stay on for 5 minuets now.
