There could be, like someone mentioned at one point, something involving capturing objectives in space... That could be the spaceships are fighting in space to be able to provide support fire for the Dust players on the ground. While the dust players are fighting for control of a beacon or something to be able to light the signal for the ships above to be able to lock on and fire support.
