Actually, I think it's a welcome change from the usual Minmatar rush vs. Vindi fights we've seen so often now...

I'd doubt they are asb tanked, with that much cap transfer and knowing if they lose one they are done with only 7 ships

I have to say this is the best trick, I seen all tourney and Exodus were very slow to realize what was going on.

Well I agree it's nice to have some change but it's boring to watch 8 minutes of tanking and nothing important dying.

The initial shock was agony bringing a small fleet, then when it set in that the basi was bait and after 8mins Agony could have won. Exodus got saved cause they finally went after the Ferox, definately the best match in the tourney by far.

I still love the Shadow Cartel match in the preliminaries the most. Why people think this match was anything but boring is beyond me but you are of course entitled to your opinion.

Edit2: I mean I've watched most of the earlier tournaments as well and I just love seeing stuff blow up. We had years upon years of ships just tanking everything and/or ECMing each other with no damage going on. That's why I thought this battle was boring.

Edit3: And one more thing.. Yeah I agree it was a refreshing setup to see. I understand why people are gushing over it. I just didn't consider the match itself interesting - it was 8 minutes of almost nothing happening.

If you don't see how brilliant Agony's setup was, I am bereft of words, as well.

The excitement can't always being things blowing up, but watching a creative bunch of pilots coming up with something to really counter the current meta.

Na every match after that is going to be boring. That was one heck of a setup to pull, kill one or two frigs and win. :P
